Rejected petition BAN the sale & use of cheap hand held Laser Pointers without good cause..

Once again today as reported on the BBC News an airliner had to return to Heathrow after one of the pilots was put into a situation by having a Laser shone at the aeroplane whilst taking off.

It was reported on the news there has been over 1400 similar "Attacks" on Airliners in the past year...This really is NOT acceptable and the sale of these cheap high powered handheld devices should be banned and if the perpetrator of using one of these "Toys" to influence an pilot should be SEVERELY dealt with!!
