It is time to stop funding religious extremists and this includes Christian extremists as well as any other religion, Creationists who take the word of the Christian old testament ahead of that of science should not be allowed to indoctrinate children in the name of the state.

People are welcome to their faith but religious indoctrination should not be state sponsored, any schools wishing to continue as faith schools should be self funded.
Children in state funded schools should not be taught religion but they should be taught 'about' religion and ethics but this must also include equal time given to atheism.
Free schools where there is no control over the curriculum but the funding is public must not be approved if run by any religious organisation.
