We are in a very different place to that when the Tory referendum promise was made. The refugee crisis has deepened severely over the last year. Ignorance of all facts fuels many people's thoughts on why we should leave the EU. Time is being wasted debating this - time that should be used to help.

Hundreds of thousands of people heading for Europe.
European countries blockading borders.
Tear gas, water cannons and riot police used against people fleeing persecution and death.
