My housemates never do their washing up and it's time that we put a stop to this madness once and for all.

Living in a house of nine people leaves room for plausible deniability for every single unwashed mug and plate that currently litters our kitchen. I want you to stand with me in my plight.

I have previously written an article entitled: "Is this the messiest student house in York?" in the hope that some public shaming would encourage an introduction of a basic level of hygiene. However, this has not happened and my house Facebook chat has only seen an increase in the levels of passive aggressiveness decrying the state of our living arrangements.

By taking a stand against my own housemates I hope to start a movement, to set a precedent, to try and change this world for the better.
