Closed Require Royal Mint to 'buy back' Legal Tender coinage it has issued

Apparently the Royal Mint has recently instructed banks not to buy back commemorative coinage such as the 2015 Buckingham Palace £100 silver coin that it issued as Legal Tender thus forcing holders of said coins to the open market

Legal Tender - the majority of people take the phrase 'Legal Tender' to mean that when this is applied to coinage it will be acceptable at a Bank
