From the end of August to the end of December, the UK do not have any bank holidays.
The UK have one of the least amount of Bank Holidays in the world.
I propose an additional Bank Holiday for the UK in between August and December.

Trafalgar is a popular choice and that was on the 21 October 1805. Nelson died but Britain prevailed. Trafalgar Day has a nice ring.

The Battle of Hastings was fought on the October 14 1066 so could also be around this day
