Closed petition Make Defibrillators a Legal Requirement in Schools and Public Places
Closed on
Just like fire extinguishers, defibrillators are life saving pieces of equipment, and yet to most, are unheard-of. Whilst they are beginning to appear in more and more public places, there aren't nearly enough located in places where fire extinguishers, for example, are mandatory.
Cardiac arrest can occur anywhere, at any given time. In such a circumstance, time is vital. Having life-saving equipment nearby will undoubtedly play a huge part in saving the patient's life should this occur.
