- Maglev technology will allow travel from London to Glasgow via Birmingham, Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds, Teeside, Newcastle, Edinburgh and more, yet cost only £30BN
- Maglev trains travel at over 300mph compared to 170-200mph for conventional wheel on rail trains.
- Maglev trains are capable of faster acceleration/deceleration, can travel up steaper inclines, and the nature of the platform on which they travel means that they take 92% less land.
