Petition Stop the Government's proposed changes to the Skipton Fund

Prior to July 1992, many people were infected with Hepatitis C due to NHS treatment with infected blood, or before 1987 for blood clotting disorders. Many died and many more are suffering with the pain and misery of this disease, unable to work, adding financial difficulties to their stress.

The Skipton Fund was set up to provide ex gratia payments to affected patients.

The Government is now consulting on plans to cut these payments.

We must not let this happen; they deserve all the support they are entitled to.
