Myself and other people who suffer from diabetes know the complications we suffer with our dental and eyesight problems, Causing very uncomfortable pain and strain. We are constantly paying huge bills to our dentists and opticians on a regular Basis for treatment we need, that we cannot prevent.

Diabetes is the leading cause of blindness in adults aged 20 to 74. High blood sugar which cannot always be prevented causes the lens of the eye to swell, which changes our ability to see.
Gum disease is much more common In a person who suffers from diabetes, this is because the red blood cells cannot fight infection as well as a non sufferer, causing pain and in time, brittle teeth. This in turn forces us to visit the dentist a lot more often than the average person.
