Petition Restrict Slow moving vehicles during rush hour

Tractors, LGV's and all other slow moving road vehicles, excluding buses and coaches, should be prohibited from using the roads between the hours of:

07.30 to 09.00

and

16.30 to 18.00

The benefits of this:

1. Reduce the tail backs caused by slow moving
vehicles.

2. Reduce accidents caused by frustrated drivers attempting to get past long tail backs caused by slow moving vehicles.

3. Reduce the amount of pollution.

4. Reduce the amount of fuel used due to drivers accelerating to overtake and due to stop start traffic.

5. Redcue lost time at work due to accidents and lateness caused as a direct result of slow moving vehicles.

6. Reduced stress levels of drivers thus less road rage incidents also increasing productivity.
