Rejected petition Abolish zoos and return all animals to their natural habitat.
Every year, most countries in the world, but specially in the EU kill animals that do not financially benefit Zoological centres and often, before they are put to sleep, they are treated with poor conditions. We are not securing a species' survival, but funding animal ostracisation.

Evidence for this petition can easily be found online by simply searching for 'why should we abolish zoos'. The latest incident was the killing of gorilla in the US which was caused by lack of parental attention in a place where wildlife is carefully incarcerated.
