Since Sunderland City Council took over Washington Development Corporation they have used our money to pay for upgrades and improvements to Mowbray Park, Barnes Park, the City Centre and we in Washington are being left out in the cold. Our public services have been cut severely. Take back control

Facebook group Washington in Decline has seen the addition of almost 1,600 member in the last 2 days. Residents from around Washington are uniting in this common cause to stop the rot. Photographs of the litter, the overflowing bins, the fly tipping, the overgrowing trees and shrubbery and the grass verges along our roads and highways that are causing disruprion and becoming a danger to motorists. We need to stop this NOW. We need an independent voice and independent Council!!
