Closed petition In a 2nd independence referendum, Scots living outside Scotland will get a vote
Closed on
The recent referendum on EU membership may now precipitate a 2nd Scottish independence referendum. If the Scottish Government takes this step, then it is reasonable that Scottish-born people currently living outside of Scotland have a vote in such a referendum.
Scottish-born people, whether they are currently living in England or elsewhere, will be affected by the result of such a referendum, as it will have serious and life-changing implications for their future choice of nationality, citizenship and passport etc., both for themselves and for their descendants.
