Recently there has been considerable deception on the part of politicians who appear to have deliberately deceived the British public on matters affecting the future well-being of the United Kingdom.

A politician shown to have seriously lied or deliberately or knowingly deceived the public on important matters of national interest should be barred from holding any ministerial post in government.
