Rejected petition I WANT TO STOP THIS UNLAWFUL RE RUN AND DEBATE FOR ANOTHER REFERENDUM ON THE EU

THE REFERENDUM WAS A DEMOCRATIC VOTE, THERE IS NO LEGAL REASON FOR A DEBATE OR A SECOND REFERENDUM. IT WAS A MAJORITY WIN DECISION FOR THE LEAVE CAMPAIGN, A DEMOCRATIC VOTE. OTHERWISE IT OPENS QUESTIONS AS TO THE LEGITIMACY OF ANY POLITICAL PARTY IN POWER AFTER A GENERAL ELECTION.

A SECOND REFERENDUM PLACES THE WHOLE ISSUE OF WHETHER OR NOT WE LIVE IN A DEMOCRATIC COUNTRY.
THE RULING GOVERNMENT HAS GONE TO THE PUBLIC FOR A VOTE ON WHETHER OR NOT WE STAY IN THE EU. THE VOTE HAS BEEN CAST AND COUNTED AND SHOULD STAND. THE GOVERNMENT HAS MADE MANY U TURNS IN THE PAST ON POLICIES, BUT AS FAR AS I AM AWARE THERE HAS NEVER BEEN A SECOND GENERAL ELECTION BECAUSE 65% OF THE POPULATION DID NOT LIKE THE RESULT OF A GENERAL ELECTION AND THEN TRIED TO FORCE ANOTHER!!
