Petition Introduce National Community Service For All 16 Year Olds

The government should introduce one year of compulsory national community service to every 16 year old from September through to August the following year.

Exemptions would include those in full time work, full time education (college, 6th Form etc) and those who volunteer full time.

Participants would take part in daily exercise, community projects, volunteer work, classes on how to get a job, entrepreneurial and business skills, health and nutrition, recycling and the environment.

Make it something fun, educational and positive.
