Rejected petition Celebrate the 24th of June as Britain's Independence Day.

On the 23th of June 2016 the British people voted to end a dictatorship we sent a message to the world that we will not stand idle while our sovereignty and ability to determine our own destiny are quietly stolen by unelected, unaccountable bureaucrats sitting in foreign lands.

More details

The Magna Carta signed on the 15th of June1215 ultimately resulted in fairness among rich and poor alike in Britain, we the British people believe in fair play whether in sports or political systems, Upholding this fairness principle should involve limits on power, preventing excessive concentration and resulting misuse by individuals, groups, associations and institutions, that is why I strongly believe that the day of the result of the vote to free this nation from the yoke of European dictatorship should be recognised as a national holiday.
