Closed petition Cyclists to display identification such as a number plate for accountability

Closed on

I believe because cyclists have anonymity some ignore the Highway Code, creating a danger to themselves, other road users and pedestrians
I have witnessed numerous dangerous, reckless and ignorant actions
Identification and accountability could make the roads a safer place.

To reduce the risk cyclists present to themselves and others. Through accountability to create a culture of best practice.
In an age of speed cameras and dashboard cams to make the cyclist identifiable when involved or causing incidents.
To promote greater harmony between the motorist and cyclist. To make the roads a safer place for pedestrians.
