Petition Set the voting age for referendums to 16

Referendums cover issues with a long term effect.

Very often a 16 year old at voting time will be 18 when the decision comes into force

More details

In Scotland the voting age for many elections is already 16.

It is not logical to deprive these people of the vote for referendums.

A next step should be to make the voting age for referendums 16 throughout the UK
