As young people we think youth crime is a problem and more needs to be done about it. We think there should be harsher punishments, especially for repeated offenders as it is unfair all young people and teenagers are labeled 'thugs'.

According to the Daily Mail, under 18s commit a quarter of all crimes.

Statistics on www.gov.uk show that in 2013/14 there were 90,769 offences which resulted in a disposal, and the most common offence was violence against the person.
