In many European countries the legal drinking age is 16, in the UK there is a massive problem with both binge drinking & underage drinking. If the UK was to lower the legal drinking age to match that of countries such as germany, we may see a change in the attitudes of younger adults on drinking. Where there could be a massive reduction in the percentage of people wasting NHS resources on too much alcohol.
Why was this petition rejected?
