Rejected petition Put a bid to host the winter Olympics in the 2026 games

Why couldn't the UK not host the winter Olympics? I think Scotland would do a fantastic job of hosting many of the events and I think it would be worthwhile at least investigating the possibility of the Games in Scotland.
