Closed petition The UK must ratify the Paris Agreement on climate change immediately
Closed on
At COP21 in December of 2015 real progress was made in creating global agreement for a low carbon future. For these agreements to be legally binding 55 countries representing 55% of global emissions must ratify the Paris Agreement. The US and China have just ratified- the UK must follow suit.
The UK represents 1,55% of global emissions, so its signature would make a tangible difference

We stand a real chance for progress now China and the US have signed (the worlds two biggest emitters by far).
