Closed petition Vote on whether the Houses of Parliament should be refurbished or rebuilt.

Closed on

In a time of mass austerity, £4b to refurbish The Houses of Parliament over 6 years NOT including fees for renting elsewhere. £7.1b over 32 years if they stay inside. We the people believe that the palace should be kept for historical value and a new building be built for a fraction of the price.

The evidence is there. This needs to be done and the savings go back into the publics purse, helping stop austerity on the sick and disabled. Fund more homeless shelters, stock the food banks!!! Act NOW not tomorrow!
