We the undersigned call upon HM Government to have the term ‘accountant’ legally defined and protected.
This is due to us being increasingly concerned by the poor advice businesses and individuals are being given by individuals claiming to be qualified accountants, when in fact they have had little or no professional training and lack the qualifications to deal with complex financial issues.
