Rejected petition Protect Loch Lomond: Prevent any building of leisure resorts on Loch Lomond.

With recent news of Flamingo Land owner being in talks to build a £30m leisure resort, it may bring environmental issues to the area of Balloch. Please help protect the area from any potential building projects and preserve the natural beauty of the Loch.

More details

Any sort of Leisure facility in the area of Balloch could be detrimental to the environment of Loch Lomond. Potential wildlife issues could surface such as excessive damage to natural habitats. A lot of road systems going in and out of the Trossachs area will have to be resurfaced and some may also needed to be replaced based on potential future traffic conditions. I hope something can be done to protect the scenery and current environmental standards from any negative effects.
