Closed petition Ban the release of Helium balloons
Closed on
Helium is a rare gas, which is becoming scarce, we allow people to release helium filled balloons for memorials/ celebrations / competitions.
It causes major problems when the balloons deflate for wildlife and in particular aquatic animals. A number of whale deaths are recently attributed to them.
