Rejected petition Put Edmund the Martyr on a banknote!

I petition for a banknote bearing the likeness of Edmund the Martyr, king of East Anglia and original patron saint of the English, who was slain by the Vikings in AD 869.

More details

The history of Anglo-Saxon England is a neglected subject in today's Britain, and having a banknote depicting one of its most famous Kings would be an excellent way to make it more familiar to the general public.
