Rejected petition A State Pension For Any Individual On Completion Of 40 Years N.I. Contributions

With an increased retirement age and a lifetime in work, many people will have paid around half a century of N.I. contributions into a "pension scheme" that only pays you a pension based on a maximum of 35 years. Fifteen years extra contributions with absolutely nothing in return.

You wouldn't pay a cold caller on your doorstep £50 for something clearly only worth £35? Of course you wouldn't - but that's what your Government are selling you right now, and we're allowing them to do it without any questions asked. Pay the state pension on completion of 40 years contributions.
