Rejected petition Stop 'child' immigrants gaining entry into the UK when they are clearly adults

The recent pictures in the newspapers of the alleged 14-17 year old children given entry to the UK from the Calais jungle are clearly not children, they are adults. What methods have been used to determine their true age and why have they been allowed to come here?
