Closed petition the government to stop or at least suspend foreign aid

we have so many issues within the UK that we ned to re-examine whether we can afford foreign aid.

We are struggling to maintain front line services, have people living from food banks in poverty and homelessness is on the rise. On the other hand we are spending a huge amount of money on foreign aid, giving it to countries who can afford to run a space program for example? We see on a daily basis that this money is abused - i believe this money would be better spent on issues within the UK supporting our own people.
