Many people are finding themselves taking Codeine on a regular basis through over the counter pain killers and cough medicine even when symptoms have stopped.
Codeine is an Opiate drug.
Despite fairly recent warnings on the packets and from sales assistants, people are becoming addicted.

Many people are using these drugs to relax, get to sleep etc and becoming dependant.
This is a serious problem and health issue with a suprising amount of people finding themselves addicted and sales of these drugs are increasing.
Making these drugs prescription only and providing help for people who have become addicted would be a simple solution to the problem, manufacturers are the only ones benefitting from it.
