Petition Allow life Imprisonment for cat killers

People are not scared to kill cats or other animals, as is shown with the Croydon cat killer, he has slaughtered hundreds of cats. However, the maximum sentence for killing a cat is 6 months imprisonment.
This will not deter awful criminals from ending a poor cat's life.
