Closed Make it UK law to label all consumer products as vegan/vegetarian/non-vegetarian

There has been numerous times when I have discovered (by contacting companies) a product is vegetarian, yet it is not disclosed on the packaging. Stating items as vegan/vegetarian or not should become a legal requirement as it would make it easier to purchase according to each individual lifestyle.

This law should apply to ALL consumer products sold in the UK from food and drink to cosmetics and everyday essentials, such as toothpaste and hand wash.
