Closed petition Save Savay Farm and Savay lake from HS2
Closed on
HS2's proposed Colne Viaduct would destroy Savay Lake and the setting of Savay Farm, a grade 1 listed house of immense historical interest which also has a scheduled monument. We want to preserve these precious sites for future generations to enjoy.
HS2 want to build a massive viaduct (2.25 miles long and as tall as a pylon across the Colne Valley in Denham/Harefield. Savay Farm is a grade 1 listed house of great historical significance; nearly 900 years old; former home of Sir Oswald Mosley. Savay Lake is legendary carp-fishing lake and amongst the top 3 fishing lakes in England. Immensely beautiful it is full of wildlife and amazing fish. We want the Secretary of State for Transport to put a tunnel under the Colne Valley to preserve these sites.
