Closed Make it illegal to breed dogs without being a registered breeder

It should be illegal to breed dogs unless you are a breeder registered on some sort of national register in order to stop people breeding dogs for the wrong reasons and purely for financial gain. It would also help prevent the horrific treatment and breeding in these 'puppy farms'

A national register of breeders should be produced with them all being regulated my a body of animal welfare officers. Anyone breeding outside of these registers should be prosecuted and liable to an unlimited fine.
