Petition Stop the closure of the West Midlands Ambulance base at Aston Fire Station!
The West Midlands Ambulance Services central base is at the Aston Fire Station. Due to the Council saying they are no longer able to fund this they are planning to close the base unless they can raise £50,000! This would make Northfield and Erdington the next closest ambulance bases.

Anybody who has needed an Ambulance in an emergency for themselves or loved ones will know that minutes really matter, in a situation that requires immediate treatment those minutes really are the difference between life and death. The extra few miles these crews would have to travel will be costing vital seconds, even those of you outside Birmingham know the importance of the emergency services and their ability to respond quickly.
