Petition Reduce the annual income for a spousal visa to be in line with living wage

The spousal visa requirement means that I must be earning £18,600 a year (and increases with dependents) To even be consider for the visa means that most people cannot afford to be in love.
I myself work two well paid jobs and still don't meet the criteria. This means my husband cannot join me.

More details

The visa requirement would be much fairer for all if it was in line with the living wage and would stop the separation of 43% of family's.

This requirement has been a problem for many families for a long time and something needs to change.

There should not be a price to pay for being happy and in love.
