Public safety should not be abused by allowing drivers of black cabs and private hire vehicles the elevated chance of being distracted and a danger to person or property whislt operating a vehicle and satellite navigation simultaneously whislt booked. Dont keep loved ones at risk with that booking.

As stated on the gov.uk website under the policy paper regarding improving the driving test updated 25 August 2015, demonstrates there is evidence in the government's view to explore both the correlation between distrations, the causes of accidents and the need to perhaps introduce a baseline standard for drivers to demonstrate the ability to use satellite navigation safely. The general public in the interim of findings should be risk protected. Use of sat nav should be customer opt in only.
