Closed petition Allow people to make voluntary contributions to the NHS

Closed on

By signing this petition you are asking MPs to debate the feasibility of allowing the public to make voluntary financial contributions to the NHS.
Voluntary contributions could help ease the strain on the health service and the people who work in it at a time when they face unprecedented pressure.

Allowing members of the public to make voluntary contributions to the NHS would provide people with the means to aid and potentially save an institution that has at some point in their lives helped them.
By signing this petition you send a message of solidarity to the workers of the NHS, that you acknowledge that the difficulties the health service currently faces are not the result of their work ethos or competence but of the funding constraints that are placed upon them.
