Closed Reinstate the Nit Nurse and make lice treatments free for children up to age 16

The lack of nit education and Nit treatments being taken off the minor ailment scheme results in more infestations and less treatment being administered. With most brands of treatment ranging from £8-£15 per treatment it is a costly affair to treat the whole family effectively.

The reinstatement of the Nit Nurse in all primary schools and the access to free head lice treatment will go a long way to combat the problem.
