Closed Lower the age of free childcare care from 3 to 2 to support working families

In the UK, childcare is provided for working families at the age of 3 which means that from a young age, working families need to pay up to £40 a day for childcare. For full timers this equates to £800 per month. More than the average mortgage payment.

For non working families childcare is provided for free of charge. This is a backwards system as why would someone who doesn't work need their child watched full time. Where as some one who is working has to pay for their child care and receives no support.
