Closed Make the Law Society the only regulatory body for Solicitors

The SRA and the Law Society coexist but the Law Society traditionally are the body that was formed on the 2 June 1825 that regulated solicitors up until the formation of the SRA in 2007. The SRA offer nothing different from the Law Society and are just an added expense to solicitors and taxpayers.
