Rejected petition Make Donald Trump pay for his state visit to the UK and Not the British taxpayer

Donald Trump wants to build a big border wall with Mexico and make them pay for it. I suggest if he is coming to UK on a state visit he pays for it himself and not the British tax payer. Why should the British tax payer be funding this state visit?
