Closed Disability Benefits for IBD Crohns/UC Sufferers living with a chronic Illness

Unemployed Crohns & Ulcerative Colitis sufferers who suffer daily and those who end up with major surgery resulting in ileostomy and/or Colostomy don't get any financial help to live with the disease.

All they can do is get a sick note from a GP and send it off to the DWP which results in filling out a medical assessment form. Then they get an appointment to see a Medical Doctor and the final decision is "your fit enough for work".
