Closed petition Hold a referendum on Irish unity
Closed on
with the majority of Northern Ireland voting to remain in the EU and with a new generation now living in peace, it is the right time for the people of Northern Ireland to decide on their long term future democratically and peacefully
It's been 44 years since the last referendum on Irish unity in 1973 and now with a new generation both North and south, with a growing economy in the Republic of Ireland and particularly after the recent Eu referendum with a majority voting in Northern Ireland voting to remain, the time is right to hold a new referendum for the people of Northern Ireland to determine their future peacefully and democratically for the good of all citizens.
