Petition Give NHS hospitals the same 80% discount on business rates given to charities.

NHS trusts do not qualify for the same tax relief on business rates from which charities currently benefit, including some private hospitals. In many cases, these rates are set to rise, costing hospitals millions. The Dept of Health has no plans to provide additional funding to cover this.
