The DWP give cruel, arbitary and ridiculous reasons for stopping benefits. This leads to greater poverty, reliance on food banks, homelessness, hopelessness and suicide.
A parliamentary enquiry similar to the enquiry held over Sports Direct.

60 yr old amputee war veteran had benefits stopped for selling Poppies
Successful job applicants with a starting date in two weeks time, have benefits stopped because they did not continue to search for work in that two week period
A job applicants interview is longer than anticipated leading to benefit sanctions for one month because they are 9 minutes late for the Job Centre
Benefits have been stopped because no job search took place on Christmas day
