The Supreme Court judged that Theresa May's 2012 family visa rules and the Immigration Directorate Instruction are unlawful in failing to take proper account of the Government’s duty to have regard to the need to safeguard and promote the welfare of children when making decisions which affect them
This followed a report by the government-appointed Children's Commissioner that up to 15,000 children are living in 'Skype families' because of the same rules. It is time to say sorry.
